Got fridge working again, Headed north to Fernadale, along 101 with a slight detour through Avenue of the Giants. Before leaving got this pic of Common Vision bus, camped by me at Santa Rosa.
Arrived at Ferndale early afternoon, Fairgrounds is open field but has water and electric hookup for $15 a night. Showers and dump available too. Ferndale has amazing Victorian architecture, Most of the buildings on Main Street and for the most part all the residential houses are Victorian.
Great spot for people watching, and lots of little shops to browse though. ( One thing I noticed, is that everyone says Good Morning or Hello.) Friendly spot. Cheese Factory at Loleta is just a few miles away, as is shopping in Eureka, the Redwood Forest and the Ocean.
