Pictures of the new (to me) trailer. Lots more room.

Wow, it has been about 3 weeks since I posted here, Christmas Day was very chilly, rain and wind, but no snow!!!. Went up to Ash Meadows to see the pupfish , Pics enclosed. Then up to Pahrump for New Years eve dinner at Lakeside Casino. Gambled a whole $6. Naturally won nothing. New Years day we headed for Quartzite. I checked in at 88 Shades park in town and Faith, Ron and Bill went on to Salome to the” winter home”. After much fooling about finally got Gift Lake Books and was able to work on them. Jan 8 went out to the desert at Plomosa Road. About 5 Solos there that day. That increased to about 80 rigs before Sunday and the start of the Rally. Lots of people, lots to do Campfires every night and side trips during the day.
Quartzite is really “Flea Market Overload” When I was here two years ago it was in March and it was a sleepy little town. The population explodes in January to probably close to 200,000 people. (Check it out on the internet). Great spot for people watching too.
Yesterday went out to Desert Bar near Parker with the SKP Solos group. It is a bar built on an old mine site that is only open one day a week, and closes for the summer months. To get to it you drive on a dirt road up in the hills above Parker about 10 miles. The place was really hopping… (Pics enclosed) and very unique architecture. Then from there on to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Parker, for “All you can eat catfish fry” and some music and dancing.
BTW, traded in my 2001 19’ Tahoe for a 2004 27’ Prowler. Now I may need a new truck. This has a lot more room, and the dogs love it. Aki is still a bit under the weather and I may need to take him to the vet Monday.
